I currently make most of my ice cream with a Breville Smartscoop ice cream maker. If you don't have a machine, you can follow my recipes then place the ice cream directly into the freezer without churning. As it starts to harden, remove from the freezer and whisk it until smooth, then continue freezing. Works a treat :)
